Getting Started with PostWave

1. Account Setup

Create your account

Sign up with your email and choose a subscription plan that fits your needs.

Complete your profile

Add your name, timezone, and other preferences in account settings.

2. Connect Your Social Media Accounts

YouTube (Fully Available)

Primary Platform
  1. Navigate to the Accounts page from your dashboard
  2. Click "Connect" on the YouTube card
  3. Sign in with your Google account
  4. Grant permissions for PostWave to upload videos
  5. Your YouTube channel will appear in your connected accounts

Other Platforms (Currently Restricted)

Testing Phase

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms are temporarily restricted while we focus on YouTube API verification. They will be available once the review process is complete.

Common Issues & Solutions

Authentication & Connection Issues

Can't connect to YouTube

  • Make sure you're using a Google account with YouTube access
  • Check if your YouTube channel is eligible for uploads
  • Disable browser extensions that might block popups
  • Try connecting in an incognito/private browser window

Connection expired or invalid

  • Disconnect and reconnect your account from the Accounts page
  • Check your Google account security settings
  • Ensure PostWave still has permission in your Google account settings

Upload & Publishing Issues

Video upload failed

  • Check that your video meets YouTube's requirements (size, format, length)
  • Ensure your YouTube channel has upload permissions
  • Verify your internet connection is stable
  • Try uploading during off-peak hours

Scheduled post didn't publish

  • Check the post status in your dashboard
  • Verify the scheduled time was in the future
  • Ensure your account connection is still valid
  • Check if the platform had any service interruptions

Account & Billing

Subscription or billing questions

  • Check your billing history in account settings
  • Ensure your payment method is valid and up to date
  • Contact support for billing disputes or refund requests
  • Subscription changes take effect at the next billing cycle

Current Platform Status

YouTube - Fully Available

YouTube integration is fully functional. You can connect your channels and upload videos without restrictions.

Other Platforms - Temporarily Restricted

Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms are currently in testing phase and temporarily restricted while we complete YouTube API verification. These platforms will be fully available once the review process is complete.
